Alan Taetle
Alan Taetle joined NMP in 1998 and has focused his investment activities on software and information technology companies. He currently represents NMP on the boards of Clearleap, PureWrx and Salesfusion. Alan was previously a director or observer for several prior NMP investments, including Virtustream (sold to EMC), Vocalocity (sold to Vonage Holdings Corp.), Acumen Brands (sold to General Atlantic), SecureWorks (sold to Dell) and Adjoined Consulting (sold to Cap Gemini). Alan currently serves on the board of Venture Atlanta and he is a member of the Board of Advisors of the Georgia Tech College of Computing. Alan received his MBA from Harvard Business School.
Paul Bell
Member of Dell senior executive team, reporting to CEO, from 1998 to 2012. Leveraged strategy consulting experience in developing business unit strategies that helped Dell grow from $7 billion to over $60 billion in revenues. Wide international experience, having led multi-continent regions for 9 years and global business units for 5 years. Lived in UK, France and North Africa for 17 years. Specialties include developing high growth, high performance organizations; transformation of go-to-market models; and implementation of business management systems to drive performance improvement. Currently Operating Partner at Lead Edge Capital, New York.
Kip McClanahan
For the past 20 years Kip McClanahan has worked in IT security, networking, media communications and software industries. He served as both CEO and board member to both public and private companies. He has founded or held leadership roles in companies including BroadJump (acquired by Motive), TippingPoint (IPO, acquired by 3Com) and NetSpeed (acquired by Cisco). As an operator, he has raised over $100M in capital and his companies have returned nearly $800M in realized gains. Kip graduated from the University of Texas with a BS in Electrical Engineering.
David Schofman
As Chairman and CEO, David oversees the leadership and strategic direction for PureWrx. Over the past 25 years, David’s journey as a serial entrepreneur has led to founding or co-founding six different companies, with three of them being sold to public companies. His passion for building businesses and building a true family of co-workers has led to his continued success across multiple different industries. David is supported by an amazing team of executives that have focused on creating secondary market sales and marketing programs for premium brands for the last two decades. David is a graduate of the University of Texas, Austin.
Brian Anderson
As Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, Brian is primarily responsible for overseeing operations, finance, legal and technology for PureWrx. His 20+ year career as an entrepreneur includes several successful businesses in ecommerce, investing, healthcare and technology. Brian is a strategic thought leader that builds and empowers incredible teams. As a leader, he focuses on the personal and professional growth of his team, which has gained him a team that is incredibly loyal and talented. Brian is a graduate of the University of Texas with an MBA from Rice University.

Polly Bessel
43-year executive with AT&T running Network Engineering and Managed Services Business Solutions. Responsibilities included planning and capacity management for wireless/wireline global layer 0-3, including cell site backhaul, wireless core transport, ethernet delivery, interoffice facilities, IP backbone (domestic and international).
Melissa Lau
Ms. Lau has spent the last 9 1/2 years at Juniper Networks, most recently as Director of Integrity & Compliance, with a focus on global channel compliance. She has also held positions as Audit Partner at Controls Solutions International and Process & Strategy Consultant at Accenture. She holds an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California and a BS in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis.
Michael Vickery
From 2009-2013 Michael was VP of Strategic Alliances at Juniper Networks where he was responsible for their global system integrator business. An experienced technology industry veteran, he spent 13 years with IBM in a variety of sales and marketing positions and served as CEO and other executive roles at several start-ups that successfully raised $400M in funding. Michael received his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Martin Garvin
From 2001 to 2008, Mr. Garvin was at Dell Computer, where he was first the Vice President of Worldwide Procurement and then later Senior Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer. In these roles he oversaw the strategic leadership and management of Dell global supply chain, manufacturing, and procurement operations. He led a worldwide team with direct reports in commodity management, supplier engineering, materials, logistics, general procurement, and international trading. Prior to Dell, Mr. Garvin held significant Operations positions at Sun Microsystems and Hewlett Packard. Mr. Garvin was most recently at Juniper Networks, where he was the Senior Vice President of Global Operations.
John Shelnutt
John has a notable and broad background in the telecom industry and most recently was at Cisco as Vice President/GM of Cisco’s Mobility Domain global business with responsibility for the strategy and service provider engagements for all things mobile at Cisco. Prior to Cisco, John was the EVP of Goodman Networks, a wireless network deployment and services company. Over the course of his career he has managed business greater than $2.5B per year, direct teams of sales and engineering professionals of over 200 (indirect of over 600), and has achieved a lifetime of over $35B+ in sales.
